My Mother Gave Me Belly Aches Part 1 of 2

Dr. Marciano became a doctor because he is always been fascinated by medicine and wanted to help people. He enjoys being a pediatrician because it allows him to watch my tiniest patients grow into mature adults with bright futures. He takes pride in seeing my pediatric patients transition from elementary to high school and then go to college. He guides the way and makes certain that they can physically achieve their dreams.

I treat children of all ages who suffer from various types of gastrointestinal issues. Some of the conditions I treat include reflux, milk protein issues, encopresis, constipation, feeding disorders, dysphagia, weight loss, failure to thrive, esophageal strictures, eosinophilic esophagitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, colitis, Crohn’s disease, infectious diarrhea, and all disorders related to the gastrointestinal tract.

Communication is key in building relationships with my patients and their families. At NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island, we put patients first. We pride ourselves on delivering compassionate and individualized care to every person we treat. Patients can communicate with me directly via MyChart, email, and phone.

In addition to serving as a physician, I conduct research on patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
